HOW THE ONLINE AUCTION WORKS:
The complete list of auction items is shown above. Each item will have a starting bid of $10. Beginning at 10am, all bidders will then e-mail [email protected] with a bid in increments of $5. (That address is only for this purpose, it is not in regular use.) For a bid to be counted, it must be emailed to that email address.
Think of the bid as a silent auction of sorts. You will have until 6pm to submit bids for the auction, and can bid as many times as you want. Current bids will be updated next to each item throughout the day, as quickly as possible, so that you can follow along.
At the end of the day, winners will be notified by email and each winner will then donate the specified amount to Salford Mennonite Church by Monday morning, either through the giving page or by check, to Salford Mennonite Church with "youth auction payment" on the memo line (if you also include a donation, please note that with your payment or by emailing Brad). You will be contacted after the auction about how to receive your items; if you live too far away to deliver they will be mailed. It would be kind of you to donate to cover postage if we need to mail the items, and please be cognizant of which items will mail well when you bid.
Donations are always welcome! Make checks payable to Salford Mennonite Church. All donations and payments will be tithed, with the 10% tithe divided between Healthy Ninos Honduras and MCC SWAP (our cancelled 2020 summer service location). All other proceeds will support the youth.
If you have any questions, you can reach out to Pastor Maria.
