Covid Remembrance and Hope Event: Holy Week 2021
From Saturday, March 27 to Saturday, April 3 Salford hosted a Covid Remembrance and Hope event.
All week, an interactive prayer was open to the community on the porch of the stone schoolhouse behind the church.
On March 27 and April 3, a luminary walk through the cemetery was available to the community featuring nearly 550 luminaries.

God of the whole world, today we cry out to you in grief. First were deaths in China, and we watched with concern. Then were hundreds of deaths in Italy and Spain and we watched with shock and horror. As the deaths have come nearer, and have climbed to thousands and tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands, we have experienced wave after wave, and we have often become numb. The numbers are too big, the pain too unfathomable... |
