Facility Support Staff - Salford Mennonite Church and Child Care is seeking a reliable, organized Facilities Support Staff member to help maintain our buildings and grounds, ensuring safe, welcoming, and functional spaces for our congregational life, child care operations, and community events. Routine mowing, cleaning, and snow plowing are handled by others, but this role is essential for special event support, facility changeovers, and ongoing upkeep.

This is a part-time role (up to 15 hours per week) and includes evening and weekend hours. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background checks, including Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification, and FBI fingerprinting.

Qualifications
  • Experience in facility support, building maintenance, or groundskeeping preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements associated with lifting, carrying, and handling furniture and equipment
  • Reliability and willingness to work during nights and weekends
