February Electives

Adult_Sunday_SchoolFebruary is Salford’s Christian Education Electives month.  Youth and adults will have the opportunity to choose to participate in any of seven elective Sunday school classes.  Last February was Salford’s first year holding Sunday school electives.  “I took a class on how the Bible came to be,” says Derek Godshall, a member of the youth group.  “I learned about the different stages of how and when the Bible was put together. It was really interesting to learn that history and the led me to do some of my own research on the topic.  I’m looking forward to selecting a class from this round of electives.”

This year’s list will cover a wide range of topics, such as healthy living, sport and faith, communion, managing money and others.  The Christian Education Hour begins at 10:30 a.m. following the 9:00 a.m. worship service.  Children will continue to meet in their regularly scheduled classes.  Below is the full list of February electives.
