Joyce Hunsberger began her position as Director of Children's Ministries in January 2009.  Born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, she studied languages and education at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. and moved to Allentown, PA where she taught French, German, Spanish, and English to Speakers of Other Languages for 28 years. She has a Master's degree in French and Spanish at Lehigh University and her elementary principal certification from Penn State. She also spent four years at Penn View Christian School teaching 1st grade. Her marriage to Ray in 1972 was her first introduction to the Mennonite faith. Their church families included Deep Run West and Perkasie Mennonite prior to joining Salford. They are proud parents of two daughters, Sarah of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joanna Kemp who attends Salford with her husband Eric and their 3 children.
