History
The Salford congregation was established in 1717 by Swiss-German immigrants. Initially, families gathered in their homes and barns for worship until a simple meetinghouse was built by 1728. Throughout the years, the congregation has been known for simplicity, frugality, hard work and thrift. Those values are still important to us today. Now, as our surrounding community has experienced growth and change, the congregation has members from a variety of backgrounds. As we look to the future, we want to continue to promote and live Anabaptist-Christian values such as discipleship (following Jesus), peaceful living, mutual aid and accountability. We seek to be hospitable and welcoming to everyone. We invite you to join us!For a more detailed history of Salford click here,
