“Repeatedly overwhelmed
by God’s holy love, we respond in silence and awe, word and music,
joy and lament, in regular, renewing worship.” (Salford Core Value
Statement)
During our worship time
on Sunday mornings, we meet together—young and old—to worship the
one true God. Our worship is inspired by scripture and led by God’s
Holy Spirit. We enjoy singing praises to God for His many blessings
to us. In the words of the hymn writer: “To God be the glory, great
things He hath done!” We also share our gifts of instrumental music
and appreciation for music from around the world.
Each week we humbly bring
our offerings and prayers: offerings of time, money, and talents to
give to God’s work; and prayers because we believe God hears our
prayers and answers us. We regularly pray with thanksgiving and bring
our requests for each other and the world around us.
God has blessed us with
much more than we deserve. We meet together to give praise to Him for
loving us, and to seek His leading for our lives.
