Mennonite
Disaster Service (MDS) is a channel through which various Anabaptist
churches have responded to those affected by disasters in North
America. The focus is on clean-up, repair, and rebuilding homes, but
serving with MDS also becomes a means of touching lives and helping
people regain faith and wholeness. Salford annually sponsors a trip in
late winter, with approximately 15 volunteers serving for one week.
