Stewardship

As recipients of God's extravagance we are joyful stewards of the Gospel, the environment, our time, our talents, money, our health and our relationships.
Hospitality and Mission
Having been welcomed into God's community, we proclaim God's love and grace. We joyfully invite friends and neighbors near and far to join God's banquet.
Pastoral Care

We are a community that practices mutual care, and we help each other see the way God's spirit shapes our spirit through life's joys and lament.
Worship

Overwhelmed by God's Holy love, we join in regular renewing worship, through words and music, joy and lament, silence and awe.
Learning Community

We eagerly embrace learning about God's creation through a wide variety of experiences from sermons to service.
Gifts Discernment

God has given each one of us unique gifts and abilities. We encourage each person to share these gifts for ministry and service here at Salford and beyond
Scripture

We consistently turn to scripture as our foundational story, and through scripture we enter the conversation of who God is and what God is up to.
Peace, Justice and Reconciliation

Captivated by God's vision of Shalom (peace), we renounce violence, speak the truth in love, and seek to do the hard work of forgiveness.
Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer, and that God hears our prayers and answers; at times in powerful ways, and at times in ways that we do not understand.

Salford Library Please check out our new monthly Library Book Reviews. The two books reviewed this month tie into Salford ’s mission as a peace church and feeding those in need with produce from our organic garden. The first book, Stones into Schools, embodies peace making in Afghanistan, and The second, Children’s Simply In Season Cookbook, encourages kids to eat their vegetables!
